Dr. Sunandan Sikdar

Dr. Sunandan Sikdar is a Consultant Cardiologist in Howrah, currently attached to Sanjiban Hospital, Uluberia. Dr. Sikdar did his MD in Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College (2001-04), and his DM in Cardiology from G B Pant Hospital, New Delhi (2005-08). He also did a three-month Observership in Electrophysiology at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan, under Prof. Shih-Ann Chen.

Dr. Sikdar has worked on Endothelial Dysfunction in Diabetes, the Genetics of Hypertension and the Therapeutics of Eisenmenger’s Syndrome. He has also contributed to various text books as well as to International and National Medical Journals on topic relating to Cardiovascular conditions and procedures. Dr. Sikdar was given an award for the best paper in the Diabetes Section at APICON 2004.
